This month’s Craft Guerrilla DIY craft night looks like being a bit special. To coincide with the All Star Productions theatre run of ‘Girlfriends’, the craft night on Thursday 9 June at the Rose & Crown will have a 1940s theme.
The craft night will feature ‘Make Do & Mend’ craft packs and a retro fascinator workshop, which can be pre-booked by emailing munano@yahoo.com. Claire Hair will be providing a ‘Beauty is Your Duty’ session on the night, giving you a cool vintage look. Finally, Frillseekers will be on-hand with a selection of 20s, 30s and 40s vintage clothing.
The Craft Guerrilla night is on Thursday 9 June at the Rose & Crown. It’s free to get in (although some things on the night might cost a little) and runs from 8-11pm. Full details including costs are here. If you’re new to Craft Guerrilla, their events are super-cool and they are marvellous people too. Check out our interview with Debbie from Craft Guerrilla here.
The craft night ties in with the theatre production of ‘Girlfriends’, a play celebrating the lives of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force in World War 2. ‘Girlfriends’ run from 7 June – 1 July. Full details are here.
