The Stow in full flow

The Stow are gearing up to a return to live action with a new video and a series of live dates, including a special intimate appearance at The Stow Festival.

The Stow – Haydn, Shi, Gus, Dave and Matt – are a hip-hop indie band with close links to E17. Since the release of the Covers EP earlier this year (reviewed on Walthamstow Scene here) they have been busy shooting a video for their single ‘Give a Damn’ and lining up some exciting shows in September / October.

The band are performing a special acoustic show as part of The Stow Festival at the Hornbeam Cafe’s performance space in the Forest Recycling Centre (capacity of around 80 people). Tickets for that show are available at bit.ly/stowfestival102. They then go on to play Hammersmith Apollo on Monday 3 October (yes, THAT Hammersmith Apollo) and are undertaking a tour of universities. Full details of those shows can be found on the band’s website here.

Here’s the video for The Stow’s most recent single, ‘Give a Damn’. It’s got swearing in, but we’re all adults, right?
