Craft Guerrilla have organised an event slightly different to the fare usually featured on Stow Scene. They are running a talk and Q&A session with Debbie Bliss in the Deli on Orford Road on Thursday 3 November.

The Walthamstow-based Craft Guerrilla hold regular events and craft nights in the area. This event will feature Debbie Bliss, who is a knitter, designer, and businesswoman. Debbie will be delivering a talk on running your own creative business, and there will be a Q&A session afterwards.  The talk is being held in The Deli on Orford Road in the Village, and there will of course be teas, cakes, sandwiches and other treats available to purchase throughout the talk.

The event runs from 6.30pm – 8pm on Thursday 3 November. Tickets are £5 and are available from the Craft Guerrilla website. Ticket proceeds go to a charity of Debbie’s choice.

  • Thanks for flagging this up – I’m popping along tonight. Have you thought about running a feature on creative bloggers who live in Walthamstow? There’s myself and Maison Cupcake for two!

  • Hi! I haven’t thought about it, but it’s a nice idea. Could you drop me an email at walthamstowscene at And we can chat about it.
