The Waltham Forest Social Club, situated next to the Town Hall on Forest Road, are holding their seventh Real Ale festival in early November. The four-day event runs from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 November.
The Social Club is a decent little drinking venue which is getting into a routine of holding good, regular events. In April this year they held a one-day beer and music festival headlined by Eastroad. This is their seventh Real Ale festival, hence the pun “Severnth Heaven”, although I’m not too clear if the drinks hail from the River Severn area. Anyway, they are promising 30 Rela Ales, Ciders and Perries, with food available and some live music on the Saturday night (no info on who is playing – if anyone knows, post it in the comments below!).
The festival runs from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 November, with the fun starting at 5pm on the Thursday and at Noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Entre to the Social Club is free for Club members and CAMRA members. Entry for non-members costs £1 before 8pm and £3 after 8pm. The Waltham Forest Social club is next to the Town Hall, behind the Assembly Hall, on Forest Road, E17 4JF.
