The Ivy York Band are headlining a night of free live music and dancing at The Birkbeck Tavern in Leyton on Friday 2 December. The night is in aid of the charity The AAT.

The night is something of a reunion for a couple of bands that played The Stow Festival. The Ivy York Band played Stow Fest on the same night as E17er Paul Mosley, and Paul will be performing at this Birkbeck Tavern show as well. It looks like a great night actually, as both of those bands are awesome. The night will also feature DJ Mark Ellis playing some R&B, there will be a raffle and some cake, and the Birkbeck does some fine real ales too.

It’s a free show to celebrate their year of fundraising for charity The AAT, which is The Aplastic Anaemia Trust, and no doubt there will be some fundraising action on the night too.

The gig is on Friday 2 December at The Birkbeck Tavern, E11 4HL, doors open at 8pm. Yes, the gig is in Leyton but it’s close enough and there are some Walthamstow-based acts playing! More details are on the Facebook event page. Here’s a video of Bad Boy Blue by Paul Mosley – nice song, and cute video too.
