We’ve got this far into November, but E17, we have to talk about it now. It’s coming. Yes, it’s 38 sleeps until Christmas! Here’s details of the E17 Designers Christmas Market to get you in the festive spirit.

The E17 Designers Christmas Market takes place over two days at the Asian Centre, on Orford Road in the Village. There will be different entertainment and designers on each day, to entice you to make two trips. As you’d expect, the main thrust of the event is a chance to pick up some cool design bits for Christmas (or for yourself, because, you’ve worked hard all year and you deserve it), be it art, ceramics, jewellery, or any other treasures. There will also be food on offer, with jams, chutneys, cakes and macaroons all promised.

As well as the market, there will also be entertainment on offer. on Friday 25 Nov, there will be music from Andy Green and Tom Lynch. On the Saturday, there will be a performance from choir The Singing Room. If that’s not to your taste, Chloe Redmond will be doing some bellydancing. The ‘E17 Neighbourhood Quilt’ from the E17 Art Trail will also be on display.

The E17 Designers Christmas Market takes place on Friday 25 Nov from 7-10pm and on Saturday 26 Nov from 2-6pm. Tickets are £2 per day, which also gets you a drink, or you can keep your ticket from the Friday and get in for a quid on the Saturday. For more details go to the E17 Designers website or the Christmas Market Facebook event page.
