Covers band Petty Cash are playing a fundraising gig in aid of Cancer Research UK at the Dukes Head on Wood Street on Saturday 31 March. The night will see one of the band members chopping the hair he has been growing for 22 years.

Petty Cash are a six-piece London-based covers band, playing country, folk, blues and rock ‘n’ roll covers. The night at the Dukes Head will feature a performance from the band, as well as the haircut. Steve, of Steve’s Hairdressers on Wood Street fame, will be  cutting the hair of guitarist Thomas, who has been growing his hair for 22 years. There will also be a raffle and a range of other fundraising activities, all on behalf of Cancer Research UK.

The fundraising page for Thomas’s haircut can be found here if you’d like to sponsor him. More information on the band can be found on their website.
