The Rose & Crown is hosting a ‘Bake Off’ to help E17er Julian Ball raise money for the NSPCC. There will be a range of competitions at the Bake Off event, which is on Sunday 18 March.

Julian Ball is running the London Marathon for the NSPCC and, as part of his fundraising activity, he has organised the E17 Bake Off. Naturally, there is a baking competition, to which entry is £5. As well as the baking, there will be a book sale, and some local businesses have donated prizes at the event. These include a meal at Eat 17, a voucher for Simply Skin and tickets to a Junior Film Club screening at Screen 17.

Entry is £5 via Julian’s Just Giving page. The Bake Off is at the Rose & Crown on Sunday 18 March from 1-3pm. It’s basically making and eating cakes for charity, so show him some love.

  • I shall be the judge of this event to help raise money for very worthy causes. I shall also be donating a cake as a raffle prize. I hope to see some of you there and can’t wait to try your cakes!
