Wood Street Indoor Market is joining in the street party-tastic vibe of the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend with a Jubilee Bash on Saturday 2 June.

The market is hosting the all-day event and promising to cater for “punks and patriots alike”. Amongst other things, on offer will be face painting, a tug-o-war, 1950s music, a chance to have your photo taken with the Queen and her corgis (this may possibly not be your actual Queen of England), a raffle, plus all the shops in the rather fab indoor market will be open as usual, and many of them will be running their own events or workshops to compliment the Bash.

The Jubilee Bash runs from 10.30am until 5.30pm, and as it’s in the market, it’s free to get into of course. More information can be found on the Wood Street Indoor Market website.
