Here at Walthamstow Scene, we like to get to know the people that make the magic happen in E17. Bands, artists, comedians, politicans, local businesses – we love to chat, and we hope you do too. Starting in 2011, we’re finding out what makes people tick in Walthamstow. Check out the interviews below.

Rachel Grasby, Hornbeam Cafe

The Hornbeam community cafe at 458 Hoe St is something of a hidden gem on the Walthamstow scene. Not only is it a delicious organic cafe, it is also host to a range of events including a book club, music and poetry nights, and regular BBQs. Rachel Grasby is the cafe/event organiser at Hornbeam, so we thought we’d have a chat with her about all things E17 here.
